Abstract Self Portraits

Making out abstract portraits today as well as painting them with water colour paint.  They turned out really well.

We worked so well together sharing and taking lots of care with the colours we chose.

Math learning with Room 3 and 4

We discovered today there were many different ways to make 9.  As you can see we made this number using tally marks, drawings, writing the number and doing different types of addition or multiplication sums.  Mrs Bason and Mrs Gempton thought that we were all very clever.

Room 4 kids are learning so much at swimming time.  We are learning to float, get objects from the bottom of the pool and even float on our backs.

We have all feeling very clever about how much we are learning.  We are showing a terrific attitude and we are giving everything a try.   At the end of swimming we love hanging out in the sunshine waiting for everyone to finish getting dressed.  We love being with our friends.

Welcome to Team Wha 2016 - Our first day at the bike track

Welcome back to school and to Team Wha ( Room 4)
We are a bunch of fantastic learners and our teacher is Mrs Bason.  We are going to have such a wonderful learning journey this year.  So is our new teacher.

Today Team Wha had the most wonderful start to the day  We dressed up with beads, hats and ribbons to celebrate the beginning of Art Deco.  We had three amazing people and their cars visit us at school.  There were lots of giggles as we were driven around the field.
